Ingredients

- 2 lbs lean ground beef
- 1 large onion, chopped
- 4 garlic cloves, minced
- 2 teaspoons cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon cumin
- 1/2 teaspoon coriander
- 1/2 teaspoon clove
- 1 tablespoon chili powder
- 3 tablespoons brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon vinegar
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon chile, crushed
- pepper
- pastry dough
Recipe
- 1 saute hamburger with onion and garlic until the meat is no longer pink.
- 2 stir in remaining ingredients.
- 3 cook for 15 minutes over medium heat.
- 4 cool completely.
- 5 roll pastry to 1/8"thickness.
- 6 cut into 3"rounds.
- 7 place a spoonful of filling on each round.
- 8 dampen pastry edges.
- 9 fold pastry over.
- 10 prick top with a fork.
- 11 can be frozen at this point.
- 12 place on ungreased cookie sheet one inch apart.
- 13 bake 20 minutesat 350.
