Guinness Burgers

Total Time: 27 mins Preparation Time: 5 mins Cook Time: 22 mins

Ingredients

  • 1 1/4 lbs ground beef
  • 1 dash pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon tabasco sauce
  • 1 clove garlic, crushed
  • 1/4 cup chili sauce
  • 1/2 ounce package knorr french onion soup mix
  • 1/2 cup guinness stout (or other stout)
  • 4 hamburger buns

Recipe

  • 1 preheat oven to 400f degrees.
  • 2 combine meat, pepper, tabasco sauce, garlic, chili sauce, dry onion soup mix, and 1½ ozs guinness.
  • 3 shape into 4 patties.
  • 4 bake at 400f until brown, about 10 minutes.
  • 5 baste with the remaining guinness.
  • 6 continue baking for an additional 10-15 minutes, until well done.
  • 7 add your favourite burger garnishes and trimmings.
