Hamburger Garden Soup

Ingredients

  • Servings: 5
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 cup onion, chopped
  • 1 garlic clove, mince
  • 4 tomatoes, chopped or 1 (28 ounce) can diced tomatoes, undrained
  • 2 cups corn or 2 cups frozen corn
  • 2 cups water
  • 3 tablespoons fresh parsley or 1 tablespoon dried parsley
  • 2 tablespoons fresh basil or 2 teaspoons dried basil
  • 2 tablespoons fresh thyme or 2 teaspoons dried thyme
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons fresh rosemary, minced or 1/2 teaspoon dried rosemary, crushed
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper

Recipe

  • 1 in a large saucepan, cook the beef, onion and garlic over medium heat until meat is no longer pink, drain.
  • 2 add the remaining ingredients, bring to a boil.
  • 3 reduce heat, simmer uncovered for 30 minutes or until heated through.
