Coffee Rubbed Veal Burger

Ingredients
- 4 veal schnitzels
- 4 slices bacon
- 2 tomatoes, peeled and sliced
- 4 slices cheese
- 4 lettuce leaves
- 4 burger rolls
- 1 tablespoon freshly ground coffee
- 2 teaspoons golden brown sugar, packed
- 2 teaspoons fresh ground black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon ground coriander
- 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1/2 teaspoon fine sea salt
Recipe
- 1 place the coffee, sugar, black pepper, coriander, oregano and salt together in a bowl and mix until well combined. (this mixture will keep in an airtight container in the fridge for a couple of weeks).
- 2 rub each slice of veal liberally with coffee rub on both sides. allow to marinate for at least half an hour.
- 3 heat a char grill plate and toast the rolls until nice and crispy then grill the bacon and marinated veal for 4-6minutes, then place the bacon on top of the veal and top with a cheese slice.
- 4 layer the burger roll with lettuce, tomatoes and cooked veal and serve.
