Hamburger Soup

Ingredients

- 1 1/2 lbs ground beef
- 2 cups chopped onions
- 1 cup sliced celery
- 1 cup diced carrot
- 1 tablespoon minced garlic
- 3 (14 ounce) cans beef broth
- 2 beef bouillon cubes
- 1 (15 ounce) can diced tomatoes
- 1 teaspoon italian seasoning
- 2 tablespoons worcestershire sauce
- 1/2 teaspoon hot pepper sauce
- 3 tablespoons margarine
- 2 tablespoons flour
Recipe
- 1 in lg soup pot, brown beef; add next 4 ingredients.
- 2 cook and stir 2 minutes.
- 3 add broth, boullion cubes, and tomatoes.
- 4 cook and stir 2 minutes.
- 5 add italian seasoning, worcestershire sauce, and hot pepper sauce.
- 6 bring to a boil; reduce heat and simmer for 15 minutes.
- 7 in small sauce pan, heat butter, add flour.
- 8 cook and stir on med until mixture is beginning to brown.
- 9 carefully mix into soup.
- 10 cover and simmer for another 15 minutes, stirring occasionally.
