Cheesy Bacon Burgers

Ingredients

- 6 slices bacon
- 2 lbs ground beef
- 1 small onion, chopped
- 1 cup catsup
- 1 (4 ounce) jar sliced mushrooms, drained
- salt and pepper
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 8 hamburger buns
Recipe
- 1 fry bacon in large skillet; crumble and set aside.
- 2 drain off all bacon drippings.
- 3 add ground beef to skillet and brown; drain off fat.
- 4 sir in bacon, onion, catsup, mushrooms, salt and pepper.
- 5 cover and simmer 10-15 minutes.
- 6 sprinkle cheese over top, and heat until cheese melts.
- 7 to serve, spoon over split hamburger buns.
