Janet's Favorite Spaghetti Sauce

Ingredients

- 1 lb ground beef
- 2 (8 ounce) cans tomato sauce
- 1 (6 ounce) can tomato paste
- 2 1/4 cups warm water
- 1/2 teaspoon chili powder
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 3/4 teaspoon seasoning salt
- 1/2 teaspoon italian seasoning
- 1 pinch salt
- 1 pinch pepper
- 1 pinch sugar
- 6 ounces cooked pasta
Recipe
- 1 brown hamburger, drain of fat.
- 2 on medium-low heat in a 3 quart saucepan, add tomato sauce and tomato paste.
- 3 stir well to get tomato paste lumps out.
- 4 add water, stir well.
- 5 add drained ground hamburger.
- 6 add chili powder, garlic powder, seasoned salt, italian seasoning, salt, pepper, and sugar.
- 7 simmer on low for at least 30-45 minutes. the longer it simmers, the better!
- 8 you can also use a slow cooker on low for 6 hours!
- 9 spread warm sauce over cooked pasta.
