Hamburger Stew

Ingredients

- 1 lb lean ground beef
- 3 brown gravy mix
- 15 ounces crushed tomatoes
- 15 ounces water
- 1 large onion
- 4 carrots
- 3 stalks celery
- 1 cup frozen peas
- 1 tablespoon worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme
Recipe
- 1 brown hamburger with chopped onion till done in dutch oven. drain very well (i run them under hot water in the sink). add brown gravey packets, tomatoes, and 1 tomato can's worth of water. stir well over medium heat. add chopped carrots and celery, along with worchestershire sauce and thyme. cook until carrots are tender, about a half hour. add peas, stirring till they are heated through.
