Bar-b-q Beef

Total Time: 11 hrs 15 mins Preparation Time: 15 mins Cook Time: 11 hrs

Ingredients

  • Servings: 8
  • 5 lbs boneless chuck roast, lean
  • 14 ounces chili sauce
  • 1 quart dill pickle, including juice

Recipe

  • 1 put all ingredients into a large roaster and bake, covered @ 250 degrees for 11 hours.
  • 2 do nothing for the first 6 hours.
  • 3 after 6 hours, stir every hour to break apart.
  • 4 not necessary to add any other seasonings, not even salt.
  • 5 before serving, mash or break apart with fork.
  • 6 serve on hamburger buns.
