Humungo Hamburger

Total Time: 25 mins Preparation Time: 15 mins Cook Time: 10 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 6
  • 1 (8 inch) round loaf bread
  • 2 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil
  • 1 1/3 lbs ground beef
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 6 -8 slices american cheese (optional)
  • 1/4 cup thousand island dressing (i use homemade burger sauce)
  • 6 large iceberg lettuce leaves, shredded

Recipe

  • 1 preheat the broiler. slicing horizontally through the middle of the bread, cut out a 1/2 inch thick layer and discard, reserving the top and bottom layers. brush the cut sides with 1 tablespoon olive oil; broil until golden.
  • 2 in a large bowl, combine beef with the remaining 1 tablespoon of olive oil and the salt. place on a plate and shape into a ball; flatten into a nine inch patty.
  • 3 preheat a large skillet over medium heat. transfer the burger to the skillet and cook until browned on the bottom, about 4 minutes. using a large spatula, flip the burger and cook 3 to 4 minutes more, adding cheese slices during last few minutes of cooking.
  • 4 spread the dressing or burger sauce on the toasted bread bottom and top. slide the burger onto the bread bottom; top with the shredded lettuce and the bread top. cut into wedges and serve.

Applebee's Quesadilla Burgers (copycat)

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 2 (10 inch) flour tortillas
  • 2 tablespoons butter, softened
  • 1/3 cup shredded monterey jack pepper cheese
  • 1/3 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • diced onion
  • diced canned jalapeno
  • bacon (cooked and crumbled)
  • southwest seasoned hamburger (recipe follows)
  • 2 teaspoons ground cumin
  • 2 tablespoons paprika
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • crushed red pepper flakes (to taste)
  • 1 teaspoon salt (i didnt measure)
  • 1 tablespoon dried oregano

  • 1 for hamburgers:.
  • 2 combine all seasoning ingredrients. use one heaping tblsp of seasoning mix per pound of hamburger meat. mix into hamburger meat until well combined. fry or grill. ( i used george foreman grill).
  • 3 assembling the complete burger:.
  • 4 heat a large frying pan over medium heat. spread butter on one side of each tortilla. put one tortilla, butter side down in the hot pan. sprinkle the cheeses evenly onto the center of the tortilla in the pan- but not all the way to the edges. put the tomato, onion, bacon and jalapeno over the cheese, add the cooked seasoned burger and cover with the other tortilla butter side up (like a grilled cheese sandwhich). when the bottom is browned, about 45-90 seconds, flip the quesadilla and grill the other side. remove the quesidilla from the pan and using a pizza cutter, cut throught the middle. serve.

French Onion Dip

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 1 cup cream cheese (softened)
  • 1 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 -3 teaspoons onion soup mix
  • 1 tablespoon minced onion (optional)

Recipe

  • 1 in a large bowl combine the cream cheese and the mayonnaise. use a beater and beat until smooth.
  • 2 stir in the 2 teaspoons of onion soup mix and minced onion (if desired) then taste the dip to see if you wish to add the remaining teaspoon of soup mix.
  • 3 if desired, add the additional teaspoon of onion soup mix. stir the dip until ingredients are mixed thoroughly.
  • 4 store dip in an airtight plastic container with a lid and keep chilled in the refrigerator for about three or four days.
  • 5 great with chips or you can try a little on top of a hamburger.
  • 6 note: you may have to check the taste a few times while preparing and add things depending on how you would like it to taste.

Hardees Mushroom And Swiss Burger

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 1 (10 1/2 ounce) can campbell's golden mushroom soup
  • 1 (4 1/2 ounce) can green giant sliced mushrooms
  • 1 teaspoon worcestershire sauce
  • 4 slices processed swiss cheese (no holes)
  • 4 (1/4 lb) hamburger patty
  • 1/2 teaspoon accent seasoning
  • 1/2 teaspoon lawry's seasoned salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground pepper

Recipe

  • 1 mix the first three ingredients together, put on low heat and let simmer.
  • 2 mix the accent, lawry's and pepper together and put in a shaker.
  • 3 season the patties with this and fry or grill until done-dont press on the patties-you must resist this impulse!
  • 4 put patty onto a bun, then the swiss, then the sauce and you're done.

Craftscout's Burgers

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 4 teaspoons cajun seasoning
  • 1 tomato
  • 1/2 red onion
  • 4 -6 hamburger buns
  • mayonnaise
  • 4 -6 slices cheese
  • 4 -6 leaves lettuce

Recipe

  • 1 preheat the grill.
  • 2 mix ground beef and seasoning well, shape into 4-6 patties (depending on how big you like your hamburgers). remember that they will shrink during cooking. at this point you can either pass them to your husband to grill (well, that's what i do, his grill is his baby and i don't touch it!), or you can flash freeze these on waxed paper to grill another day.
  • 3 grill over medium heat about five minutes per side, or until. done to your taste.
  • 4 meanwhile (or before hand if you are the one grilling, too), slice tomato and onion, and toast buns (optional).
  • 5 smear buns with mayo, and put hamburger patties on them.
  • 6 arrange tomato, onion, lettuce leaves, and cheese slices on a plate (or cutting board) and let each person to pick through and put what they want on their burger. but give you children the hairy eyeball if they don't take veggies. :).

Jamaican Black Bean Burgers

Total Time: 35 mins Preparation Time: 20 mins Cook Time: 15 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 4 teaspoons canola oil, divided
  • 2 cups chopped onions
  • 1 cup chopped red bell pepper
  • 2 teaspoons grated peeled fresh ginger
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • 3/4 teaspoon ground allspice
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground coriander
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground red pepper
  • 1 cup cooked rice
  • 2/3 cup dry breadcrumbs, divided
  • 1 (15 ounce) can black beans, rinsed and drained
  • 1/4 cup light mayonnaise
  • 4 whole wheat hamburger buns, toasted
  • 4 boston lettuce leaves
  • 4 slices red onions

Recipe

  • 1 heat 1 teaspoon oil in a large nonstick skillet over medium heat until hot.
  • 2 add chopped onion, bell pepper, ginger, and garlic; cook 7 minutes or until tender, stirring occasionally.
  • 3 add allspice, coriander, salt, and red pepper; cook 1 minute, stirring constantly.
  • 4 place the onion mixture, rice, 1/3 cup breadcrumbs, and black beans in a food processor; pulse 15 times or until finely chopped.
  • 5 divide bean mixture into 4 equal portions, shaping each portion into a 1-inch-thick patty.
  • 6 place remaining 1/3 cup breadcrumbs in a shallow dish, and dredge patties in breadcrumbs.
  • 7 heat remaining 1 tablespoon oil in a large nonstick skillet over medium heat.
  • 8 add patties to the pan, and cook for 3 minutes on each side or until browned and crisp.
  • 9 spread 1 tablespoon mayonnaise on top half of each bun.
  • 10 place patties on bottom halves of buns; top each serving with 1 lettuce leaf, 1 onion slice, and top half of bun.

Ground Bacon Turkey Burger

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 1 lb ground turkey
  • 1/3 lb bacon, ground
  • 1 egg
  • 1/3 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons dried onion

Recipe

  • 1 partially freeze the bacon and pulse in small batches in the food processor until ground or tiny.
  • 2 mix in bowl with other ingredients until well mixed.
  • 3 shape into four patties.
  • 4 preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
  • 5 place in skillet sprayed with cooking spray over medium stove burner.
  • 6 cook on medium for 5 minutes a side or until brown.
  • 7 finish in over for 20 minutes or until internal temperature reaches 180 degrees.

Breakfast Burgers

Ingredients

  • Servings: 8
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 lb ground lamb breakfast sausage
  • 2 cups french-fried onions
  • 9 eggs
  • 1 dash ground pepper
  • 8 cheese slices
  • 8 pineapple slices
  • 8 potato sandwich buns
  • 8 dashes paprika
  • 1 cup prepared mayonnaise
  • 1/4 cup irish red beer
  • 1/2 cup sour cream

Recipe

  • 1 for the burgers:.
  • 2 in a bowl, mix the beef, sausage, onions and one egg. pepper to taste. shape mixture into eight 1-inch patties. grill over medium high heat seven minutes per side or until juices run clear. set aside and keep warm. grill pineapple slices over medium heat 1-2 minutes on each side until striped. set aside and keep warm. fry the eight remaining eggs over medium in a large skillet over medium heat. sprinkle with paprika. turn off heat and cover. assemble sandwiches with cheese slice on the bottom of the bun, the burger, a fried egg, and the grilled pinepple slice. dress the top bun inside with a dollop of the mayo.

  • 4 mix the mayonnaise, beer and sour cream in a bowl. let stand for 5 minutes to blend flavors.

Hungarian Casserole

Ingredients

  • Servings: 8
  • 6 ounces noodles
  • 1/2 lb bacon, diced
  • 3 -4 stalks celery, chopped
  • 1/2 lb hamburger
  • 1 green pepper, chopped
  • 10 ounces canned mushroom slices, drained
  • 10 ounces tomato soup
  • 8 ounces tomato sauce
  • 19 ounces diced tomatoes with juice
  • 1 teaspoon worcestershire sauce
  • 2 drops tabasco sauce or 2 drops any hot sauce
  • cheese slice, for topping

Recipe

  • 1 cook noodles and drain.
  • 2 fry bacon until crisp; remove and set aside.
  • 3 discard most of the fat.
  • 4 add hamburger and cook until browned.
  • 5 in same pan, add celery, green pepper,mushrooms and saute.
  • 6 remove meat and veggies to casserole dish.
  • 7 stir in everything else except cheese slices and bacon.
  • 8 stir in the noodles.
  • 9 bake 350* for 1 hour and 15 minutes.
  • 10 remove from oven and top with cheese slices.
  • 11 sprinkle with bacon bits.
  • 12 return to oven for 15 minutes or until.
  • 13 cheese has melted.

Blood Gravy

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 1 lb hamburger
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 1 clove garlic, pressed
  • 1 (15 ounce) can tomato sauce
  • 1 (15 ounce) can green beans
  • 4 -5 cups mashed potatoes
  • salt and pepper

Recipe

  • 1 in a large skillet fry the hamburger adding the onion and garlic.
  • 2 drain.
  • 3 add tomato sauce and green beans with liquid.
  • 4 salt and pepper.
  • 5 cover and simmer, cook for 15 minutes.
  • 6 stir a couple of times.
  • 7 meanwhile, don't forget to make your fav mashed potatoes.
  • 8 to serve: put potatoes in the middle of plate and top with yummy meat gravy.

Burmese Curry And Rice

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 2 onions, diced coarsely
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 2 1/2 teaspoons curry powder
  • 1 lb hamburger
  • 15 ounces mixed vegetables
  • 15 ounces tomatoes, diced
  • 1 cup raw rice, cooked
  • salt
  • 1/3 head lettuce
  • 1 tomato, large diced
  • 1/2 cucumber, diced
  • 2 cups potato chips
  • 1/2 cup salted peanuts
  • 1/2 cup coconut, flaked
  • 2 bananas

Recipe

  • 1 dice the onions and fry gently in butter for a few minutes.
  • 2 add curry and simmer till onions are almost done.
  • 3 add hamburger and cook till done.
  • 4 add mixed veggies and tomatoes and simmer for 30 minutes over low heat.
  • 5 salt to taste. if more curry is needed, mix it with a little water before adding.
  • 6 make a small salad with the lettuce, tomato and cucumber (amounts are general, use what is right for the # of people).
  • 7 cut bananas in half and then again lengthwise.
  • 8 lay out in buffet as follows: rice, curry mix, salad, crushed potato chips, peanuts, coconut, banana slice and lemon juice.

  • 1 ounce dried mushroom (such as shiitake)
  • 1 1/2 lbs ground chuck
  • 1 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon dried tarragon
  • 1 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon fresh ground black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon granulated garlic
  • 1/2 teaspoon worcestershire sauce
  • 2 ounces brie cheese, thinly sliced
  • 8 slices sourdough bread, each 1/2 inch thick

  • 1 to make the burgers: in a bowl, cover the mushrooms with boiling water; allow them to soak until soft, about 45 minutes.

Burly-man-size Chicken-cheddar Barbecued Burgers

Ingredients

  • 1 cup mayonnaise (plain yogurt, or prepared ranch-style dressing)
  • 1 tablespoon hot sauce
  • 1 lime, juice of
  • 1/2 cup chopped fresh flat leaf parsley
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh cilantro
  • salt
  • fresh ground black pepper
  • 1/2 small red cabbage, halved, cored, and thinly sliced
  • 1 red bell pepper, cored, seeded, and thinly sliced
  • 6 scallions, thinly sliced
  • 2 lbs ground chicken
  • 1/2 cup prepared barbecue sauce
  • 1/3 lb sharp cheddar cheese, cut into 1/4-inch dice

  • 1 in a bowl, combine the mayonnaise, hot sauce, lime juice, parsley, cilantro, salt, and pepper; add in the sliced cabbage, red bell peppers, and half the scallions; stir to coat and set aside.

Recipe

  • 1 preheat oven to 375°f.
  • 2 combine meat, onion, bread crumbs, 1/4 cup sour cream, salt and pepper.
  • 3 mix well with hands.
  • 4 shape into small balls.
  • 5 in hot oil in skillet over medium heat, brown meat on all sides.
  • 6 turn into 1-1/2 quart casserole dish.
  • 7 combine cream of mushroom soup and remaining 3/4 cup sour cream in small bowl and mix well.
  • 8 pour over meatballs.
  • 9 cover and bake 375°f for 20 minutes.
  • 10 uncover and bake an additional 10 minutes.

Berries 'n' Cream Torte

Ingredients

  • Servings: 12
  • 1 cup butter, sofened
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 4 1/2 teaspoons confectioners' sugar
  • 4 1/2 teaspoons cornstarch
  • 3 cups heavy whipping cream
  • 4 cups sliced fresh strawberries
  • 2 cups fresh blueberries
  • 2 cups fresh raspberries

Recipe

  • 1 in a large bowl, cream butter and sugar. add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. combine the flour, baking powder and salt; gradually add to creamed mixture.
  • 2 line two baking sheets with parchment paper or greased aluminum foil; draw two 9-3/4 inch circles on each. (if you have smaller baking sheets, you can do one circle per sheet and bake in batches.) divide dough into four equal balls. pick up one of the dough balls and shape it into a hamburger patty shape. place the dough down in the center of one of the drawn circles and dust with flour. press and shape the dough with your hands until the dough is within 1/4 inch of the edge of your circle. put in oven as you continue making the other layers. bake at 350° f for 8-10 minutes or unil edges are golden brown. remove to wire racks to cool completely.
  • 3 combine the sugar, confectioner's sugar and cornstarch. in a large bowl, beat cream and sugar mixture until stiff peaks form. to assemble: place one cookie layer on a large serving plate. top with 1-1/2 cups whipped cream mixture and 2 cups of mixed berries. repeat layers twice. top with remaining cookie layer and whipped cream mixture. arrange remaining berries on top. cover and refrigerate for 4 hours.

Ground Beef & Orzo Soup

Ingredients

  • 5 beef bouillon cubes
  • 5 cups water
  • 1 (10 ounce) can mixed vegetables (such as veg-all)
  • 1 (14 ounce) can whole tomatoes
  • 1/2 cup orzo pasta
  • 1 lb hamburger
  • 1 bell pepper
  • 1 onion

Recipe

  • 1 saute pepper, onion and hamburger in soup pot. add water, bouillon cubes and tomatoes; simmer for 45 minutes.
  • 2 add veg-all and orzo; simmer for 15 minutes.

French Onion Joes

Total Time: 20 mins Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 10 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 1 (10 ounce) can condensed french onion soup
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 2 tablespoons flour, maybe a little more
  • 4 hamburger buns

Recipe

  • 1 brown meat and drain.
  • 2 add soup and stir.
  • 3 cover and simmer on medium low for 5 minutes.
  • 4 uncover and sprinkle with flour.
  • 5 stir well.
  • 6 bring to a boil to thicken sauce.
  • 7 add more flour if needed.
  • 8 serve on buns "sloppy joe" style.

Easiest No Boil Lasagna

Total Time: 2 hrs Preparation Time: 30 mins Cook Time: 1 hr 30 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 6
  • 8 -10 regular lasagna noodles (not the no boil noodles!)
  • 40 ounces spaghetti sauce
  • 24 ounces small curd cottage cheese
  • 2 eggs
  • 4 cups mozzarella cheese
  • 1 lb hamburger

Recipe

  • 1 preheat oven to 350°f.
  • 2 brown hamburger and drain.
  • 3 mix hamburger with spaghetti sauce.
  • 4 beat eggs and mix into cottage cheese.
  • 5 spray 9x13 pan with non-stick spray.
  • 6 spoon 1/4 cup meat mixture on bottom of pan and spread around.
  • 7 place four (or 5) lasagna noodles (uncooked) on top of sauce.
  • 8 layer half of cottage cheese mixture on noodles, then half of meat mixture and half of cheese.
  • 9 place remaining noodles on top of cheese.
  • 10 layer remaining cottage cheese, meat mixture and cheese.
  • 11 cover lasagna with foil and place in oven.
  • 12 bake for 60 minutes.
  • 13 remove foil and bake for 15-20 minutes more, until cheese is melted and bubbly.
  • 14 let sit for about 10 minutes before serving.

Ground Beef / Hamburger Stroganoff Casserole

Total Time: 45 mins Preparation Time: 35 mins Cook Time: 10 mins

Ingredients

  • 2 lbs ground beef
  • 8 ounces wide egg noodles
  • 3 -4 tablespoons worcestershire sauce
  • 1/4 cup flour
  • 3 -4 cups milk
  • 1/2 onion, chopped
  • 4 -6 tablespoons miss tink's house seasoning (miss tink's house seasoning)
  • 3 cups cheddar cheese

Recipe

  • 1 in a pot boil the egg noodles in salted water till tender; drain and set aside.
  • 2 in a large skillet brown the hamburger meat and onion till it's done. do not drain!
  • 3 add 1 cup of milk then add the flour and whisk till smooth. slowly add milk as it comes to a boil. the skillet should be half way full by now. pour the beef/gravy mix into a large mixing bowl and add 1 cup of the cheese and the worcestershire sauce. you may need to add more to your taste .
  • 4 add the noodle and mix well. pour into a 13x9x2-inch pan and sprinkle with remaining cheese. bake at 425°f for about 10 minutes.

  • 1 tablespoon jerk seasoning (i used jamaican jerk seasoning )
  • 4 pineapple rings
  • 1 tablespoon teriyaki sauce

  • 4 slices bacon, cooked and cut in half
  • 4 whole wheat rolls
  • cooking spray
  • 4 leaves romaine lettuce
  • 2 tablespoons light ranch dressing

Recipe

  • 1 heat grill (we use a gas grill) to low/medium.
  • 2 mix ground turkey and jerk seasoning until combined, but don't mix too much or it will damage the meat, causing it to get tough.
  • 3 form into (4) 3/4 inch thick patties. (you can cover and refrigerate for an hour to blend the flavors better or move onto the next step).
  • 4 add burgers to bottom rack on grill.
  • 5 add pineapples to bottom rack on grill. brush with teriyaki sauce and flip so teriyaki sauce is face down.
  • 6 cook for 6-7 minutes and flip burgers. do not press down with the spatula or it will squeeze out juices.
  • 7 after you flip the burgers, brush the pineapple (the "naked" side) with teriyaki sauce and flip.
  • 8 cook for another 6-7 minutes.
  • 9 after 5 minutes, add the cheddar cheese and bacon.
  • 10 also, in the last 2 minutes of cooking, spray the inside of the buns with cooking spray and add them to the grill to toast them, taking care to watch and make sure that they don't burn.
  • 11 after the cooking time is up, remove the buns from the grill.
  • 12 remove the burger from the grill and place on the buns. top with grilled pineapples.
  • 13 top with romaine and ranch dressing to serve.

  • 1 preheat broiler to about 475 degrees.
  • 2 peel and slice avocado and sprinkle with part of the lemon juice.
  • 3 divide avocado slices evenly over the bottoms of the hamburger buns.
  • 4 drain salmon and break into chunks.
  • 5 divide evenly over avocado slices,and sprinkle with remaining lemon juice.
  • 6 top with second halves of the buns, then with cheese slices.

  • 1 cook hamburger with peppers, celery and onions. once hamburger is cooked put into colander and rinse off with hot water to remove fat.

  • 1 heat oil in a 12-inch cast-iron skillet over medium-high heat. add onion; sauté 10 minutes or until tender. spoon onion into a bowl; let cool.
  • 2 add beef, pepper, and egg to onion, and stir well. divide beef mixture into 4 equal portions, shaping into 3/4-inch-thick patties.

Recipe

  • 1 rinse salmon; pat dry with paper towels. cut into 1-inch pieces. place salmon, half at a time, in a food processor. cover and process until finely chopped. in a large bowl combine egg, green onions, salt and black pepper. add chopped salmon; mix gently until combined. using damp hands, shape mixture into six 1/2-inch-thick patties. cover and chill for at least 30 minutes.
  • 2 meanwhile, in a small bowl combine mayonnaise and 2 to 3 tablespoons asian chili sauce. cover and chill until needed.
  • 3 for slaw, in a large bowl whisk together 1 tablespoon vegetable oil, vinegar, soy sauce, sugar, and sesame oil. add shredded cabbage and cilantro; toss to coat.
  • 4 lightly brush both sides of salmon patties with additional vegetable oil.
  • 5 for a charcoal or gas grill, place patties on the rack of a covered grill directly over medium heat. grill for 6 to 8 minutes or until done (160 degrees f), turning and brushing once with sweet chile sauce halfway through grilling.

  • 1 (16 ounce) can old el paso refried beans
  • 1/2 cup taco sauce
  • 2 cups fritos chili cheese corn chips

  • 1 heat oven to 375ºf. spray 8-inch square (2-quart) glass baking dish with nonstick cooking spray.
  • 2 brown ground beef in large skillet over medium-high heat until thoroughly cooked, stirring frequently; drain.
  • 3 add bell pepper and onion stir-fry, corn, taco seasoning mix and water; mix well. cook over medium-high heat for 5 to 6 minutes or until liquid is absorbed, stirring occasionally.
  • 4 meanwhile, in small bowl, combine refried beans and taco sauce; mix well.
  • 5 spoon half of beef mixture into sprayed baking dish. top with half of bean mixture and half of the corn chips. top with remaining beef mixture and bean mixture. cover with foil. bake at 375ºf. for 30 minutes.
  • 6 remove from oven. uncover baking dish; top with remaining half of chips. sprinkle with cheese.
  • 7 return to oven; bake, uncovered, an additional 10 to 12 minutes or until thoroughly heated and cheese is melted. if desired, garnish with chopped fresh cilantro.

Great Hamburger Patties

  • 1 combine everything but meat in a large bowl.

Hungarian Cabbage Rolls

  • 1 egg
  • 1 large head of cabbage
  • 1 medium onion (chopped)

  • 1 tablespoon crisco

Recipe

  • 1 boil cabbage and separate leaves when soft to roll. save water.
  • 2 combine hamburger, ham, egg, rice, salt and pepper in large bowl.
  • 3 form rolls using meat mixture and cabbage leaves. stack rolls in pressure cooker.
  • 4 saute onion in 1 tbsp crisco in 2-2.5 quart pan until clear.
  • 5 add to fill with water from cooking cabbage. add 2 tbsp vinegar. bring to boil.
  • 6 pour liquid and onion mixture over rolls.
  • 7 cook 15 minutes and let cool down per cooker instructions.
  • 8 we only know the pressure cooker recipe. his grandmother cooked in large pot, but don't know how long.

Greek Burger

Recipe

  • 1 mix your hamburger meat with the worcestershire sauce, hot sauce and garlic, season with salt and pepper form into 4 patties.
  • 2 turn your element on high and start to pan fry your patties, fry the bacon along side.
  • 3 when the pan starts smoking turn to medium heat (5 on my electric stove) and flip the burger and bacon, drain off a bit of the bacon grease.
  • 4 add mushrooms and cover the pan, continue cooking on medium heat for approx 5 minutes, flip burger again, turn heat to 1 and continue to finish cooking the burger.
  • 5 meanwhile melt your cheese on the buns under the broiler--don't burn!

Recipe

  • 1 combine the chuck, soup mix and worcestershire sauce in a large bowl, incorporating it thoroughly. will make 8 thick hamburger patties.
  • 2 cook the onions and mushrooms in a large frying pan with a bit butter till it gets a nice caramel color.
  • 3 on a heated grill, cook the patties to the doneness you prefer. put aside. place the buns on the grill, buttered side down till butter is melted and it browned a little.

  • 1 prepare a medium-hot fire in a charcoal grill with a cover, or preheat a gas grill to med-high.
  • 2 make the mayonnaise: combine all the coconut mayonnaise ingredients in a bowl; stir to combine; cover and refrigerate until ready to serve.
  • 3 make the chutney: combine the duck sauce, salsa, and banana in an 8-inch fire-proof skillet; place on the grill rack and cook, stirring, until thickened—about 5 minutes.

  • 1 cut 1/4 (triangular shaped) from each pita. chop the cut out pieces, transfer to a small bowl and sprinkle with milk. let soak 5 minutes, then drain and squeeze excess milk.
  • 2 puree soaked bread, onion, garlic, herbs, and lemon juice in a food processor. transfer back to bowl and mix in lamb. season with salt and pepper then form 4 patties.
  • 3 heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat, then add patties. cook until medium, about 3-4 minutes on each side.

  • 5 place hamburger buns on grill to toast. place your favorite cheese or cheese slices on burgers to melt.
  • 6 to assemble the burger, place the burger on the toasted bun. place sauteed onions over the burger before covering it with the top part of the bun. arrange hot fries next to the burger. garnish with lettuce leaves, red-onion slices, tomato slices and bean sprouts. serve immediately.
