Ingredients

- 1 cup barbecue sauce
- 4 -6 dashes tabasco sauce
- 1 garlic clove, chopped
- 1 tablespoon worcestershire sauce
- 1 tablespoon mustard
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup beer
- 3 lbs ground beef
- 6 frankfurters
- 12 hamburger buns
- 24 dill pickle slices
Recipe
- 1 to make sauce: mix together first seven ingredients.
- 2 let stand at room temperature for one hour or longer.
- 3 shape meat into twelve patties; cut frankfurters in half, lengthwise; broil, fry or grill, basting frequently with sauce.
- 4 split buns and heat in oven.
- 5 dip cut sides of buns into sauce, add meat patty to each bottom bun, cover with frankfurter, dill pickle and top bun.
