Curry Chickpea Burgers

Total Time: 48 mins Preparation Time: 8 mins Cook Time: 40 mins

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups cooked chickpeas
  • 1/2 cup regular oats
  • 2 carrots
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons curry powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/4 teaspoon turmeric
  • 1/4-1/2 teaspoon sea salt, to taste
  • 1/4 teaspoon fresh ground black pepper

Recipe

  • 1 preheat the oven to 375*.
  • 2 put the oats and spices in a food processor and process until smooth.
  • 3 add the chickpeas, carrots, and oil and blend until smooth.
  • 4 if the mixture is dry and not sticking together add a bit more oil.
  • 5 line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • 6 using your hands, make 4 patties out of your mixture
  • 7 bake for 20 minutes, then flip them over carefully and bake 20 minutes more.
