Everybody Loves Hamburger Stroganoff!

Ingredients

- 1 (8 ounce) package medium noodles
- 1/4 cup butter
- 1/2 cup onion, finely chopped
- 1 garlic clove, chopped fine
- 1/2 lb mixed mushrooms, thickly sliced
- 1 lb ground chuck
- 1 tablespoon flour
- 1 (8 ounce) can tomato sauce
- 1/4 cup burgundy wine
- 1 (8 ounce) can beef bouillon
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1/2 cup parmesan cheese, grated
Recipe
- 1 cook noodles according to package directions and drain.
- 2 in hot butter in large skillet, saute onion, garlic and mushrooms until onion is golden, about 5 minutes.
- 3 add beef, stirring, until it is browned. remove from heat.
- 4 stir in flour, tomato sauce, burgundy, bouillon, salt and pepper.
- 5 simmer 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- 6 blend in sour cream.
- 7 in lightly greased 2 quart casserole, layer a third of the noodles, then a third of the meat mixture. repeat twice.
- 8 sprinkle with cheese. bake at 375 degrees uncovered 25 minutes.
