Gluten Free Veggie Burgers

Total Time: 30 mins Preparation Time: 15 mins Cook Time: 15 mins

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups grated zucchini
  • 1 cup chopped mushroom
  • 1/2 cup grated monterey jack cheese
  • 1/2 cup rice bran
  • 3 tablespoons minced onions
  • 3 tablespoons rice flour
  • 2 teaspoons potato starch
  • 1 teaspoon tapioca starch
  • 1 tablespoon steak sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried rosemary
  • salt and pepper
  • 2 eggs, beaten slightly
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil (for frying)

Recipe

  • 1 combine zucchini, mushrooms, cheese, rice bran, onions, flours, steak sauce and spices in a large bowl.
  • 2 stir in the eggs and mix well.
  • 3 heat the oil in a large frying pan.
  • 4 form 5 patties about 3/4 of an inch thick.
  • 5 cook on medium heat for about four or five minutes on each side, or until a deep golden brown.
