Hamburger Casserole

Total Time: 30 mins Preparation Time: 15 mins Cook Time: 15 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 1 lb lean ground beef
  • salt and pepper
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 1 (10 1/2 ounce) can low fat reduced-sodium cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 cup fat free sour cream
  • 1 (15 ounce) can whole kernel corn, drained
  • 1 1/2 cups macaroni noodles, uncooked (i use no-yolk medium noodles)

Recipe

  • 1 fry meat in skillet.
  • 2 drain and rinse thoroughly.
  • 3 return meat to skillet, sprinkle with salt and pepper.
  • 4 add onion and one tablespoon water.
  • 5 cover and cook until onions are transparent (less than five minutes).
  • 6 cook noodles according to directions on the box.
  • 7 add soup, sour cream, corn and noodles to meat mixture.
  • 8 stir and serve.
  • 9 serve with a dark green salad and french bread.
  • 10 try varying the noodles.
