Big Chili Burgers

Total Time: 25 mins Preparation Time: 15 mins Cook Time: 10 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 8 ounces extra lean ground sirloin
  • 1/2 cup canned fat-free refried beans
  • 2 tablespoons minced onions
  • 1 garlic clove, minced
  • 1 jalapeno pepper, seeded and minced
  • 2 teaspoons chili powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon fresh ground black pepper

Recipe

  • 1 in a bowl, lightly mix together meat and beans with a fork until well combined.
  • 2 mix in onion, garlic, jalapeño, chili powder, salt and pepper.

  • 6 serve immediately, preferably on toasted buns, topped with sliced tomato and onion plus some well-drained salsa.
