Ingredients

- 1 lb ground beef or 1 lb ground turkey
- 1/2 cup onion, diced
- 1/2 cup green pepper, diced
- 2 cups cooked rice
- 8 ounces tomato sauce
- 1/2 cup beef broth
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
Recipe
- 1 in a skillet cook beef, onion and peppers until the meat is cooked.
- 2 drain fat.
- 3 add rice, tomato sauce, broth, salt and pepper.
- 4 stir, cover and simmer for 10 minutes.
- 5 add more broth if needed.
- 6 sprinkle with cheese and let melt.
