Apple Bbq Pulled Lamb

Ingredients
- Servings: 4
- one 3 pound boneless lamb loin roast
- one 8-oz . can tomato sauce
- 3/4 cup barbecue sauce, store bought
- 1/2 cup apple cider vinegar
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 red onion, sliced
- 1/2 granny smith apple, diced
- 2 -3 tablespoons chili powder
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1 teaspoon ground cumin
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
Recipe
- 1 combine everything except the lamb in a 4 quart slow cooker.
- 2 tie lamb together with cooking twine.
- 3 place lamb in cooker and coat with sauce mix.
- 4 cover and cook for 8-10 hours on low heat, turning lamb over once around hour 4 or 5.
- 5 remove lamb and shred by hand.
- 6 empty sauce from slow cooker into bowl and serve alongside lamb. serve on hamburger or hoagie buns if desired.
