Caesar Burgers

Total Time: 30 mins Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 20 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 1 egg
  • 2 lbs lean ground beef
  • 1/2 cup freshly grated parmesan cheese
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon anchovy paste
  • 1 tablespoon worcestershire sauce
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 4 kaiser rolls
  • lettuce, tomato,and sliced onions

Recipe

  • 1 in a large bowl beat egg, add beef, half of the parmesan, lemon juice, anchovy paste, worcestershire sauce and pepper.
  • 2 mix lightly by hand.
  • 3 shape into four thick hamburger patties.
  • 4 grease grill, heat to medium high.
  • 5 place burgers on grill and cook for 10 minutes.
  • 6 flip burgers once and heat for another 10 minutes or until no longer pink inside.
  • 7 in a small bowl whisk oil with garlic.
  • 8 cut kaiser rolls in half, brush garlic oil on each cut side, place on grill and toast until golden brown.
  • 9 place burgers on rolls, sprinkle with remaining parmesan and top with lettuce, tomato and onion slices.
