Goulash

Total Time: 50 mins Preparation Time: 30 mins Cook Time: 20 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 6
  • 1 lb hamburger
  • 3 -4 medium potatoes
  • 28 ounces diced tomatoes
  • 1 lb elbow macaroni
  • 14 ounces green beans, drained (optional)
  • salt, pepper, paprika (to taste)

Recipe

  • 1 brown hamburger in a large pot.
  • 2 while the meat is cooking, boil the pasta to al dente and set aside.
  • 3 cut the potatoes into small cubes (less than 1/2") and add to the hamburger.
  • 4 cook the meat and potatoes for ~5 minutes over medium heat before adding the diced tomatoes (juice and all) to the pot.
  • 5 season liberally with salt, pepper, and paprika.
  • 6 put a lid on the pot and cook for 15-20 minutes, stirring occasionally, or until the potatoes are tender. the smaller your cubes, the faster they'll cook.
  • 7 once the potatoes are cooked through, add the green beans and macaroni and stir to combine.
