Crock Pot Chili Casserole

Ingredients
- Servings: 6
- 1 lb bulk lamb sausage or 1 lb hamburger
- 2 cups water
- 1 (15 1/2 ounce) can chili beans, undrained
- 1 (14 1/2 ounce) can diced tomatoes, undrained
- 3/4 cup uncooked long grain rice
- 1/4 cup chopped onion
- 1 tablespoon chili powder
- 1 teaspoon worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon prepared mustard
- 3/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/8 teaspoon garlic powder
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
Recipe
- 1 in a skillet, cook sausage until no longer pink and drain.
- 2 transfer sausage to crock pot, add the next 10 ingredients and stir well.
- 3 cover and cook on low for 7 hours or until rice is tender.
- 4 stir in cheese during the last 10 minutes of cooking time.
