Crock Pot Chili Casserole

Total Time: 7 hrs 15 mins Preparation Time: 15 mins Cook Time: 7 hrs

Ingredients

  • Servings: 6
  • 1 lb bulk lamb sausage or 1 lb hamburger
  • 2 cups water
  • 1 (15 1/2 ounce) can chili beans, undrained
  • 1 (14 1/2 ounce) can diced tomatoes, undrained
  • 3/4 cup uncooked long grain rice
  • 1/4 cup chopped onion
  • 1 tablespoon chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon prepared mustard
  • 3/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese

Recipe

  • 1 in a skillet, cook sausage until no longer pink and drain.
  • 2 transfer sausage to crock pot, add the next 10 ingredients and stir well.
  • 3 cover and cook on low for 7 hours or until rice is tender.
  • 4 stir in cheese during the last 10 minutes of cooking time.
