Grilled Honey Mustard Onions For Burgers

Total Time: 35 mins Preparation Time: 5 mins Cook Time: 30 mins

Ingredients

  • 2 large sweet onions (vadalia or walla walla are great)
  • 2 tablespoons butter, melted
  • 2 teaspoons honey
  • 2 teaspoons dry mustard

Recipe

  • 1 tear a 36"x18" piece of heavy foil.
  • 2 fold in half to make it 18"x18".
  • 3 peel skin from onions and place in center of foil.
  • 4 mix remaining ingredients well and drizzle over onions.
  • 5 bring up two opposite edges of foil and fold down twice.
  • 6 fold remaining edges the same way, leaving room for steam.
  • 7 place on an uncovered grill, directly over medium coals for 30 minutes or until tender.
  • 8 cut and serve on grilled burgers.
