Beer Burgers

Total Time: 1 hr 50 mins Preparation Time: 1 hr 30 mins Cook Time: 20 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 8
  • 2 slices day old rye bread
  • 1/2 cup beer
  • 2 lbs ground beef
  • 1 medium onion, minced
  • 1/2 teaspoon sage
  • 1 dash salt and pepper

Recipe

  • 1 trim crust from bread and break in small pieces.
  • 2 pour beer over bread and let stand a few minutes.
  • 3 in large bowl mix beef and onions, bread and seasonings.
  • 4 mix lightly, but throughly. form into 8 patties and refrigerate one hour or more to let flavors blend.
  • 5 grill over hot coals.
