Ingredients
- 1 green onion, finely chopped
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 teaspoon butter
- 1 tablespoon flour
- 2/3 cup milk
- 1/4 cup blue cheese, crumbled
- 1 tablespoon wine or 1 tablespoon chicken broth
- 1 teaspoon pepper
- 1 dash pepper sauce
Recipe
- 1 in a small saucepan, saute onion and garlic in butter until tender.
- 2 sprinkle with flour; stir until blended.
- 3 gradually add milk.
- 4 bring to a boil; cook and stir for 2 minutes or until thickened.
- 5 add blue cheese, wine or chicken broth, pepper and pepper sauce.
- 6 heat through.
