Ghoulash

Total Time: 50 mins Preparation Time: 20 mins Cook Time: 30 mins

Ingredients

  • 1 lb hamburger (i use 96/4)
  • half box elbow macaroni, cooked and drained
  • 1 large onion, chopped
  • sliced mushrooms (canned or fresh, i prefer canned)
  • 1 (28 ounce) can of petite diced tomatoes
  • 2 (8 ounce) cans tomato sauce
  • 1 (6 ounce) can tomato paste
  • 1 pinch garlic
  • 1 pinch salt and pepper

Recipe

  • 1 brown meat, onions, salt, pepper, garlic and mushrooms, drain if needed, set aside.
  • 2 boil macaroni, drain set aside.
  • 3 in a large oven safe bowl (pyrex) combine all above ingredients, mix thoroughly. cover with aluminum foil, back 30-40 minutes take the dish out of oven, remove cover, stir once, put the dish back in the oven uncovered for 5-10 minuted to create a goldnish crust on top. let stand for at least 15 minutes.
