Grandma Peggys Hamburger Pie

Ingredients

- 1 lb lean ground beef, browned and drained
- 2 large onions, sliced
- 2 tablespoons brummel and brown spread
- 1 tablespoon worcestershire sauce
- 1 (13 1/4 ounce) can mixed mushrooms, drained
- 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
- 1 cup hot water
- 1 beef bouillon cube
- 2 cups biscuit mix
- 1 cup nonfat milk
- 1 cup fat free sour cream
- 1 cup reduced-fat sharp cheddar cheese
- 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
Recipe
- 1 season ground beef with salt and pepper to taste.
- 2 sautee onions in the brummel and brown spread until soft.
- 3 dissolve bullion cube in the hot water. mix beef, onions, and water in 9x13 baking dish.
- 4 add worcestershire, mushrooms, and flour to beef mixture. mix and spread evenly in pan.
- 5 mix biscuit mix with milk and spread evenly over beef mixture.
- 6 mix sour cream, cheese, and parsley and spread evenly over biscuit mixture.
- 7 bake at 450 for 30 minutes or until biscuit is cooked through and golden brown.
