Homemade Soft Taco Shells

Ingredients
- Servings: 4
- 1 cup flour
- 1/2 cup cornmeal
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 egg
- 1 1/2 cups cold water
Recipe
- 1 combine all ingredients and beat until smooth.
- 2 fry slowly on a griddle or in large frypan in small amounts of cooking oil. using a ladle, pour and swirl into a desired size circle. let fry until the top is dry, then flip for a minute or so to set the other side. if they turn out like crepes, make the shells thicker.
- 3 fill with your favorite ingredients. we use seasoned hamburger, tomato, onion, lettuce, cheese, green peppers, olives.
