Cheeseburger Caps

Total Time: 30 mins Preparation Time: 15 mins Cook Time: 15 mins

Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup onion, finely chopped
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1/2 lb ground beef
  • 2 tablespoons worcestershire sauce
  • salt
  • pepper
  • 16 stuffing mushroom caps
  • 8 slices cheddar cheese, cut into 2 inch squares
  • ketchup (to garnish)

Recipe

  • 1 cook 1/4 cup finely chopped onion in 1 tablespoon olive oil until softened. stir in 1/2 pound ground beef and 2 tablespoons worcestershire sauce; season with salt and pepper and cook until barely pink.
  • 2 fill 16 stuffer mushrooms. top each with a 2-inch square of sliced cheddar cheese.
  • 3 bake in a 375° oven for 15 minutes. dollop with ketchup.
