Greek Turkey Burgers With Yogurt Sauce

Total Time: 40 mins Preparation Time: 20 mins Cook Time: 20 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 1/2 cup plain fat-free yogurt
  • 1/4 cup red onion, chopped
  • 1/4 cup cucumber, chopped
  • 1 lb lean ground turkey
  • 1/2 cup plain fat-free yogurt
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano leaves
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
  • 4 whole wheat hamburger buns, split

Recipe

  • 1 heat gas or charcoal grill. in small bowl, mix sauce ingredients; refrigerate until serving time.
  • 2 in medium bowl, mix all burger ingredients except buns. shape mixture into 4 patties, about 1/2 inch thick.
  • 3 place patties on grill over medium heat. cover grill; cook 8 to 10 minutes, turning after 5 minutes, until thermometer inserted in center of patties reads 165°f serve burgers on buns with yogurt sauce.
