Mahi Mahi Burgers With Ginger And Hoisin

Ingredients

  • Servings: 2
  • 1 lb mahi mahi fillet, cut into chunks
  • 1/4 cup cilantro leaf
  • 2 tablespoons hoisin sauce
  • 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • 1/4 cup sliced green onion
  • 2 teaspoons minced fresh ginger
  • 1 garlic clove, minced
  • salt and pepper
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 2 teaspoons sesame oil

Recipe

  • 1 combine the fish, cilantro, hoisin, mayonnaise, green onions, ginger, garlic, salt and pepper in a food processor. pulse until finely chopped. pat into 4 patties. chill for 1 to 4 hours. (or 20 minutes in the freezer.).
  • 2 heat vegetable oil and sesame oil in a large skillet over medium heat. add the fish burgers and cook for 3 minutes per side or until just cooked through.
  • 3 serve on toasted buns with mayonnaise and extra hoisin, topped with lettuce and tomato.
