Jazzy Grill Burgers With Beer Sauce

Total Time: 40 mins Preparation Time: 20 mins Cook Time: 20 mins

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 lbs ground beef
  • 2 tablespoons milk
  • 1/4 cup finely chopped onion
  • 1 teaspoon worcestershire sauce
  • 1 garlic clove, minced
  • 2 tablespoons chopped onions
  • 2 tablespoons chopped green peppers
  • 2 tablespoons butter or 2 tablespoons margarine
  • 1/2 cup catsup
  • 2 teaspoons cornstarch
  • 1 teaspoon worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 cup beer

Recipe

  • 1 mix beef, milk, onion, garlic, and worcestershire; form into patties and refrigerate 15 minutes or more.
  • 2 grill burgers over medium heat on the grill for about 6 minutes, turn and continue to cook until desired doneness.
  • 3 while burgers are grilling, sauté onion and green pepper in butter or margarine until tender but not brown.
  • 4 combine catsup, cornstarch, and worcestershire sauce; add to the cooked vegetables.
  • 5 slowly add beer and heat until warm.
